Career experience
My career falls into three phases:
Early career – 15 years in the Catholic church
- Including 11 years of full-time study and training, four of those as post-graduate study in Rome and Paris, and significant pastoral care and counselling-related training and experience as a priest.
Middle career – 20+ years in business
- Including: 7 years with international chemicals company ICI, 8 years in the senior computing and systems role (CIO) in three different organisations including the Reserve Bank and Dept of Internal Affairs, 5 years as Principal Consultant with global consulting and accounting firm KPMG, after which I have had my own consulting business.

Current career – counselling and coaching focus
Over the last seven years I have changed my focus towards counselling and some coaching work, including
- Having my own practice in Pipitea St, Thorndon.
- Full Member of NZ Association of Counsellors.
- Being included on the Wellington Family Court counsellors' list.
- Accredited coach, and facilitator with the government Leadership Development Centre.
